Garden seat - folding
Nature of disputen / problem:
Garden seat collapsed whlist being used and caused injury to the users finger.
Work completed included:
- Examined seat and the evidence of damage
- Examined locking and release mechanism
- Investigated how the seat collapse occured
- Assessed the design of the folding seat compared with British Standards guidlines
- Work reported in written form for the Court
- Oral evidence given in Court
