Window cleaning trolleys and rails - multi-storey cleaning system.
Nature of dispute / problem:
Allegations made that the multi-storey building window cleaning system was not safe to use because the manufacture and installation of the trolleys and rails was defective.
Work completed:
- Examined on site each of the trolleys and the rails for defects.
- Assessed the quality of the fabricated trolleys and their installation.
- Reviewed the design and safety of the window cleaning system with the requirements of the relevant British Standards.
- Work reported in written form for the Court.
